How we work | Production cycle

At the heart of the machines.

Our production cycle handles and processes workpieces up to 80 tonnes in weight, 13 metres by 3 metres in length and with a depth of 1.5 metres, a result achieved over time thanks to our ability to follow innovation, aiming to expand our workforce and our machine park.

Roughing
This is the first part of the cycle that is performed in block processing. Roughing means bringing the shape of the workpiece to 2.3 millimetres, then giving the “shape” to the future finished product.

Semi-finishing
Through the use of different machines, the machining goes from more than 2 millimetres up to 5 tenths (0.5), increasingly tightening the diameter. In this case, the strokes can reach blocks of 6 by 3 by 1.5 metres.

The finish
Here we come to the crux of quality: the more accurate the finishing, the more finished and precise the mould. With the use of five-axis gantry machines, the finishing step brings the final mould to 0, i.e. the finished product.

2D Mechanics
In addition, we are equipped with rototranslating tables that can handle blocks of up to 60 tonnes, measuring 4 metres by 3 metres.
